NEW ART V

Made with Conte Crayons this is a light and dark drawing of my old room.

I really detest stilllife drawings. I like when others do them but I am not a freehand person. I like my art done with my computer. In this three part still life, I have to show the surface, surroundings, shadows, and the 2D/3D of the objects. Made with colored pencils.

Made with pastels. My cousin Tiffany shared her garden flowers with me so I could complete a floral assignment. The vase is flat but I can deal with the outcome.

Egghead.. what can I say, it was the value scale of white to black that had to be tested here in this image. My egg was smarter than me since I could not get the lighting and value right. Made with Acrylic paints.
My lavender purse, lavender rock, and lavender box (that contains my granny's photo, candle, and scent) I call it Lavender Heaven. Made with Acrylic paints.
The Holy Bible, Chalice, and urn. This can be represented in several ways. All three are important elements in my life. Just like the Holy Trinity. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. Made with Acrylic paints.
Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
This is a display of Warm and Cool variations that can change the look and outcome of any painting. Made with Acrylic Paints.
Valley of Light. Only Thomas Kinkade seems to be the only one who can capture the light within the paintings. This painting was made with Acrylic paints.
What can I say about this painting? This is my most prized piece ever created. This was my very first portrait painting, I ever created in my life. I panicked at the idea of having to paint this because I want perfection. The only person I could think to paint was my friend, Joe. As I have created art with his face before, I knew that this one I could really create it. Joe has these eyes that are empowering, kind, and sweet. They can make anyone feel like they are a person of God. He has his mother's eyes. I wanted to capture those eyes. His jawline is interesting and unique that to create the depth, would be a challenge. It was. I wanted to paint for the first time the person that inspires me to be the best I can be and never look back at what went wrong. Thank you, Joe. Your friendship is miraculous! This painting was made with Acrylic paints.
This was my second portrait painting ever. Since I was proud of the first one, I wanted to challenge myself by painting Eli at a difficult angle. This was made with Acrylic paints.

Wine label for a fake wine company made in Digital Manipulation.

The back of the fake wine bottle.

Ever wonder what they are saying in text messages? Well here is an ad of what is appropriate in a business setting. Collaborated with Cynthia Krzysik.

In the Sevenwater Trilogy this phrase is stated. This is an illustration of that page of the book.

Another Sevenwaters Trilogy illustration showing the description of Starwort.

The islands in which the Sevenwaters people are fighting for.

Illustrated Apples made in Digital Design. These apples were made in this sequence. Starting at Week 1 to Week 5. No apples were made in Week 6.

The realistic Apple.

The lavender scented apple.

The blue selection apple with a lot of texture.

The 'pine'-apple with an arrow through it. I wanted to see if I could make an arrow. Look, I did it!
This image was a full image but with the suggestions of my Professor, I cropped it. Another one where I wanted to see if I could make a bowl.

This flier was made for Walk America/March for Babies as a fake advertisement to get others attention the charity event. This is pretty much the only charity I am would get involved in beside Big Brothers/Big Sisters.

I have no idea why I made this image. I think I was just really bored and was throwing together images.

I love my niece so much. This image was the first time I got to hold touch her with my bare hands because of the Shingles throughout all last year. Mikyla is a special child.

"Ode To Bright Eyes" Another image of Joe. Photoshopped in the genre of Expressionism. He has great facial expressions so much so that the same image can be taken in a multitude of ways.

Again, my precious niece. I made this image with an advertisement for her surgery. The story is this:
Mikyla was born on December 5th, 2008 to my older brother. When she was three months old, they noticed that she was losing so much weight and not developing. She had a pinched aorta and two holes in her heart. In her first surgery, to fix the pinched aorta, she flat lined and was revived. Between that surgery and her open heart surgery, I plead to peoples human condition to pray for her and to sign her Guestbook. As months went by she got somewhat healthier and was starting to grow but on December 3rd, 2009, she had her open heart surgery to repair the holes. It was a success and well, within 5 days she was home with us again. I spend my Sundays with her. Her smiles, life, and laughs are truly a 'Breathtaking reflection of God's heart for me.'

In Art History, it is said that Archangel Gabriel was seen as a female. It is later said that Gabriel is the Guardian of Maidens and is the sender of fertility to couples. But there is a darker truth. Archangel Gabriel is intended to be the protector of sexual abuse victims and women of domestic violence. I made this for my mother and my friend Tana for both their birthdays.

Supreme God Epic and Supreme Goddess AislingBlack illustrated in this image. These two RPG character completely love and are obsessed with each other. Its great.
In this image I used someone's favorite picture of me and them my favorite generated phrase with a dreary background to bring out the symbolism of the design.
This is a fake advertisement I made for my mother's cleaning company. She really is great at what she does, just too bad her daughter is not domestic like her.
Both the Frost/Nixon movie posters were inspired by one of the best female graphic designers, Barbara Kluger.
